I utilise 40 years of musical experience to provide students with musical theory lessons through my business, Gary Glover Music Tuition. I work with students across Nottingham with differing abilities. From beginners to advanced, I work with you to not only provide fundamental teaching, but to make reading, learning, and manipulating music fun.

The fundamentals of musical theory were not invented by man, but set by nature. It’s where the journey of creating musical sounds and overcoming issues of how to notate it into a communicable format began.
I will help you to learn to read the language of Music and understand how it fits together from the very basic fundamentals of musical notation right through to advanced orchestration, harmony and develop your aural skills. Ever wondered just how the medium we listen to is communicated between musicians so it can be performed as the composer intended? An exciting new language awaits! It continues to fascinate me even after all this time, reading piano, brass and conductors scores and developing the ability to 'hear' what has been notated.
